First Day of School!

 This morning Avery put on her first ever uniform and packed up her backpack.  She was all smiles, and I was fighting back tears.

 Avery had such a great day we celebrated with McDonald's! her pick of course.

 And Fynn ate up some graham crackers, his new favorite.

He is not ready for kindergarten, I have to keep one little for a few more years.

The Weekend

 I did a terrible job documenting the weekend but we had a blast! We had a lobster dinner on Friday, Fynn had munchies.

 Avery finally let us take out her braid and she had beautiful waves!

 She thought she looked like Aurora from sleeping beauty.

 And of course we did the pool on Sunday.  The girls did have fun but this was taken right after Piper fell.

 Then we rushed home to finish off Avery's book reports for school tomorrow! She worked so hard on these.

And then we laid out the first day of school outfit. Avery was so excited! I was so sad...

Some Bday Presents for Me!

 Friday was my birthday! I got these awesome flowers from my father in law at work.  My boss asked what Charles did wrong :)

 And my hubbie got me (aka him) lobsters for dinner!

My friend Shelia got me bundt cakes! But I left them out on a shorter table and Piper found them. This is what they looked like shortly after her discovery. They were still delicious though!

Meet the Teacher

On Thursday we met Avery's new teacher! Then she got to have a snowcone with her buddies Jenna and Jillian.  Jenna is actually in Avery's class! She is so excited.

Playing in the Front Room

 Avery got her hair done at school by her teacher.  How amazing does that look? It lasted for 5 days, I know, we are gross to not wash hair for 5 days but she loved it so much. I have to learn how to braid...

 Fynn has to have something in his mouth all the time.  Just like Piper, this is not good for us...

Piper actually being fairly still and good. You always have to document that.

Playdate - At the Pool?

 One more time at the pool but this time we brought Caden!! The kids had so much fun playing together and not together.  I can't believe both of these kids are starting kindergarten next week!

Charles was done with the paparazzi for the day.

Sunday Morning

 Sunday morning went out for some breakfast. 

 Fynn did not want to sit still in his chair but he did try eggs for the first time and loved them!

 We got home and went on a walk before it got too hot. Avery took out her scooter for a quick minute and then wanted to ride.  I wonder if they make a triple stroller...

Fynn tried out the jumper for the first time and was not a fan. Even with Piper telling him that he could do it.  We will have to try it another time.

Saturday - Back to the Pool!

 After decent naps, we hit up the pool (again).  Piper shared more ice cream with her buddy Charlotte.

 Charlotte was super happy because she busted her mom lying that ice cream couldn't be bought at the pool.  Too bad the season is almost over.

 Avery ran into her friend Parker and they played and played. 

Fynn was on the move! But he did not want his knees to touch the ground.

Party!!

Saturday morning we had a birthday party for Morgan, Nolan and Marshall! My phone decided it was too full for pictures but I did get one shot of Ben, Eleanor, Avery, Piper, Fynn and Ali eating breakfast.

Friday Night at the Pool

 Friday night was the last Friday night for the pool this season so we went!

 Fynn crawled around checking out the ground for leaves to eat and yucky stuff to put in his mouth (he is just like Piper when it comes to that).

 Avery and Piper shared ice cream.  It wasn't all this easy sharing...

Lily worked hard at trying to go under the sprinklers. I think this was a fail.

Girls' Night Out!

Wednesday night, we put those kids to bed (or close to it) and took off for a fancy dinner!  Katie failed at the first course but she made up for it in later ones don't you worry.  Becky and I are doing it again this Wednesday! Love Restaurant Weeks!

To the Pool!

Sunday afternoon (and an awesome nap), we hit up the pool.  Fynn is starting to venture out in the baby pool for leaves to eat.

Lunch with the Reyes Family

 Sunday we went to lunch with the Reyes Family! 

 The kids did not like the wait for food but loved it when the food came!

 The cute Reyes Family! I think they were a little overwhelmed with all of us but it was great to catch up with Kristina and meet her hubbie. 

Fynn loved to hang out with everyone and he ate French fries for the first time!
